A new life at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

When a private zoo in Armenia closed, all of the animals were relocated - except one. Ruben was left behind in a tiny, squalid cage, and for five long years his world was silent.

Now home at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary (ADIWS) in South Africa, Ruben finally has the life he deserves.

Ruben’s years of incarceration have left him with lifelong health conditions that will involve significant veterinary care.
