ENDING THE BADGER CULLS!

For the last 10 years, the UK Government has spent over £1 billion on badger culling. Badgers are culled by farmers who believe that they spread TB to their cattle, although there is no current scientific evidence to support the idea that culling badgers reduces TB rates in cattle. 230,000 badgers have been culled in the last 10 years.

In response to a 100,000 signature petition which triggered a parliamentary debate in October 2025, the Minister for Food Security and Rural Affairs said that "this is the final year of industry-led culling in England's high risk and edge areas" and that "only one licensed cull will remain".
