The ADI Wildlife Sanctuary – a vital refuge for animals in South Africa.

Not just for wild animals. The ADI Wildlife Sanctuary (ADIWS) is home to more than 30 lions and tigers rescued from circuses and zoos around the world, but our philosophy is that our safe space must be a place of safety to others, as well as a return to the wild for local rescued wildlife.

Our place of loving kindness is a beacon of hope for other animals in distress across our region of South Africa. For some it is the only chance they have of a future and even when rescued from abuse, time eventually runs out for them with nowhere to go.

A lifeline for animals in need, ADIWS provides a safe haven to animals such as horses, donkeys, antelope, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, geese, a peacock, dogs and 115 rescued baby tortoises in our nursery, while dozens of adults have been released.

Given a second chance of life, your donation will help support their care and veterinary treatment for life.
