Bear skin is still being used for the King’s Guards’ ceremonial hats.

Costing millions in taxpayer money, and hundreds of bears’ lives, it’s expensive, it’s antiquated, and it’s cruel - it’s fundamentally un-British, and it needs to be updated.

Urge the Secretary of State for Defence John Healey to replace bear skin hats with advanced, high-quality faux fur.
