In a historic move on May 28, 2024, Colombia banned bullfighting after seven years of campaigning.

This marks another success for ADI in Latin America which has included national laws to ban cosmetics testing on animals and trophy hunting imports.

Our investigations have led to animal circus bans in more than a dozen Latin American countries and we have been there to empty every cage in Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, and Guatemala. Hundreds of animals saved and suffering ended.

We create awareness about animal trafficking and have assisted with seizing animals and returning them to the wild or placing them in sanctuaries.
